Vintage Maruhon Ware ceramic cachepot made in Japan, dating to the 1960s. Finished in a soft ivory glaze with an embossed floral and leaf design, scalloped rim and hand-painted blue forget-me-not style flowers around the base, highlighted with dark edging. Although this piece may originally have formed part of a lidded jar or storage pot, it now makes a charming cachepot, planter, vase or decorative display piece. A lovely example of mid-century Japanese pottery, ideal for cottagecore, country cottage and vintage-inspired interiors.

About Me

My love affair with the 1950s and 1960s began back in my teenage years. While others were chasing trends, I was diving headfirst into the music, the style, and the lifestyle of those eras. Fast-forward a few decades, and nothing’s changed—I’m still a self-confessed vintage addict (and happily so!).

In 2015, I opened my Etsy shop to share my passion with others. Ten years, countless treasures, and thousands of happy customers later, I’ve decided it’s time to branch out and take the next step—building my own little corner of the internet dedicated to all things mid-century and retro.

Whether you’re a fellow collector, a nostalgic soul, or just someone who loves a one-of-a-kind find, I’d love for you to take a look around.
