Traditional vintage hardwood tie press, dating to late 1950s / early 1960s, manufactured by John Watts of Sheffield & London, England. Made from smooth pale hardwood with original maker’s label intact. 

Designed to help maintain crisp, flat neckties, this practical gentleman’s accessory features a simple sliding press mechanism with shaped wooden boards (the sliding insert allows ties to be placed neatly inside before pressing)
