A vintage butterfly wing brooch pendant, dating to the 1950s/60s, featuring a hand-painted tropical coastal scene. The circular panel depicts palm trees and a sailing boat set against a vivid blue background, created using real butterfly wing. Framed in a gold-tone mount with a beaded edge, and designed to be worn as either a brooch or pendant. Fitted with a C-clasp fastening and integrated bale for pendant wear.

The reverse is stamped “TLM”, attributed to Thomas L Mott, a well-known British maker of butterfly wing jewellery from the mid-20th century.

My love affair with the 1950s and 1960s began back in my teenage years. While others were chasing trends, I was diving headfirst into the music, the style, and the lifestyle of those eras. Fast-forward a few decades, and nothing’s changed—I’m still a self-confessed vintage addict (and happily so!).

In 2015, I opened my Etsy shop to share my passion with others. Ten years, countless treasures, and thousands of happy customers later, I’ve decided it’s time to branch out and take the next step—building my own little corner of the internet dedicated to all things mid-century and retro.

Whether you’re a fellow collector, a nostalgic soul, or just someone who loves a one-of-a-kind find, I’d love for you to take a look around.
