A fun and highly collectible set of four vintage Saint-Gobain character tumblers featuring stylised figures in traditional national costume dress from around the world. Each glass is decorated with colourful mid century cartoon-style characters representing Greece, Turkey, Tyrol and U.R.S.S. Produced by Saint-Gobain during the 1960s, these glasses are a wonderful example of playful mid century European design and souvenir barware.

The set comes with the original blue geometric retail box although there is some wear, creasing and small tears to the cardboard stand as expected with age. The glassware is in mint condition.

My love affair with the 1950s and 1960s began back in my teenage years. While others were chasing trends, I was diving headfirst into the music, the style, and the lifestyle of those eras. Fast-forward a few decades, and nothing’s changed—I’m still a self-confessed vintage addict (and happily so!).

In 2015, I opened my Etsy shop to share my passion with others. Ten years, countless treasures, and thousands of happy customers later, I’ve decided it’s time to branch out and take the next step—building my own little corner of the internet dedicated to all things mid-century and retro.

Whether you’re a fellow collector, a nostalgic soul, or just someone who loves a one-of-a-kind find, I’d love for you to take a look around.
