1930s Sowerby amber pressed glass pedestal fruit bowl

1930s amber pressed glass pedestal bowl attributed to Sowerby Glassworks. A striking Art Deco design featuring sweeping moulded curves, geometric detailing and a rich golden amber colour. Raised on a pedestal foot, this elegant bowl would make a lovely fruit bowl, serving dish or decorative centrepiece. A wonderful example of British Art Deco pressed glass. 

There are a couple of surface stress lines visible to the interior of the bowl when viewed from above, but the piece remains solid and displays well (see final picture)
