Pair of late 1950s Michael Harris for Chance Glass 'Calypto' longboat dishes

A pair of late 1950s Chance Glass longboat dishes in the sought-after ‘Calypto’ pattern. These elongated dishes have finely detailed white enamel botanical decoration on clear glass, with the distinctive pointed “longboat” shape associated with mid-century Chance Glass designs. Designed by Michael Harris during his early period at Chance Glass prior to founding Mdina Glass, these pieces are excellent examples of British mid-century modern design.

One dish has a small chip to the edge.
