Handmade mid-century Marian Mahler David Whitehead atomic print cushion with pompom trim, 18" x 18"

Handmade (by me) statement cushion (pad included) using Marian Mahler’s iconic mid-century atomic textile design for David Whitehead. The striking geometric print features diamonds, triangles and abstract atomic motifs in black, white, red, yellow, lime and lilac on a pale blue ground, creating that unmistakable 1950s mid-century look. Finished with black ric-rac braid and black pompom trim across the front, together with a contrasting plain black reverse. A fantastic statement piece for mid-century modern, atomic, 1950s, retro and eclectic interiors, and particularly appealing to collectors and enthusiasts of post-war British textile design.
