circa. 1940s green, pink & black geometric grid barkcloth fabric remnant, 18.5" x 17"

Original 1940s cotton barkcloth fabric remnant featuring a geometric design in lime and forest green, soft grey, pink and black on an off-white ground. The graphic pattern combines irregular grid-like blocks with bold dark green bands, contrasting pink stripes and looping black linear motifs. Despite its age, the design has a remarkably modern, almost atomic feel. A great little piece of genuine period barkcloth, ideal for a cushion panel, bag, patchwork, framing or other smaller vintage textile project.
