1950s/60s Noah's Ark / zoo animal print barkcloth fabric, 45.5" x 56"

Vintage 1950s/60s barkcloth fabric featuring a charming Noah's Ark-inspired animal print on a warm off-white ground. The illustrated design features giraffes, elephants, camels, peacocks, deer, squirrels, fish, snails and other creatures amongst stylised trees and foliage, together with little arks sailing on the water. Printed in a fabulous mid-century palette of mustard yellow, red, green, blue, brown and black. A lovely distinctive piece of original vintage fabric, ideal for cushions, lampshades, bags, upholstery accents, framing and other sewing or craft projects.
