Vintage 1970s studio pottery vase by British potter Tony (Anthony) Bristow, produced at his pottery in Chillington, South Devon. Decorated with a black abstract sgraffito design against a cream ground, the vase retains its original Bristow, Chillington, S. Devon label and bears Bristow's incised 'A' signature mark to the base. Perfect for collectors of British ceramics, studio pottery enthusiasts, rustic and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, wabi-sabi décor, dried flower arrangements and contemporary decorative displays.

Sold as seen – please also see photos for detailed visual description. Small chip to the rim, reflected in the price, which does not detract from its decorative appeal, particularly when displayed with dried flowers or foliage.

My love affair with the 1950s and 1960s began back in my teenage years. While others were chasing trends, I was diving headfirst into the music, the style, and the lifestyle of those eras. Fast-forward a few decades, and nothing’s changed—I’m still a self-confessed vintage addict (and happily so!).

In 2015, I opened my Etsy shop to share my passion with others. Ten years, countless treasures, and thousands of happy customers later, I’ve decided it’s time to branch out and take the next step—building my own little corner of the internet dedicated to all things mid-century and retro.

Whether you’re a fellow collector, a nostalgic soul, or just someone who loves a one-of-a-kind find, I’d love for you to take a look around.
