1970s Goebel intaglio crystal glass paperweight of stork and reeds

A vintage 1970s Goebel crystal glass paperweight of with an intaglio depiction of a stork standing amongst bullrushes and reeds. Beautifully made in heavy clear crystal, the design combines polished and frosted finishes to create depth and contrast. This sculptural piece works equally well as a paperweight, decorative plaque, or display ornament and is very much in keeping with the refined wildlife-themed crystal designs produced by Goebel during the mid-century period.
