1960s turquoise & black rose print quilted dressmaking fabric, 86" x 82"

Large piece of vintage 1960s quilted dressmaking fabric featuring a against a vibrant turquoise/aqua ground. Clusters of painterly roses, leaves and smaller flowers, in shades of black, charcoal, grey and white, are scattered across a bright turquoise ground, giving the fabric a wonderfully dramatic mid-century look. The fabric has a lightly quilted diamond-patterned surface and a distinctly vintage synthetic feel. A fantastic amount of original vintage fabric, ideal for recreating a period-style dressing gown or housecoat, as well as costume, sewing and other vintage textile projects.
