Vintage 1950s textured barkcloth fabric featuring a detailed kitchenalia print in mustard yellow, green, grey and black on a warm off-white ground. The design depicts an array of period kitchen and household pieces arranged against a softly sketched brick wall, including pottery jugs and bowls, teapots, serving dishes, shelves, hanging herbs and utensils, together with little framed cottage pictures. The sketch-like illustrative style and muted colour palette give it a particularly appealing 1950s country-kitchen feel, ideal for reuse as a curtain, or for cushions, lampshades, bags and other vintage textile projects.
