A stunning vintage necklace dating from around the 1930s-40s, featuring a row of carved leaf-shaped drops made from iridescent mother of pearl shell. Each leaf is delicately carved with simple linear detailing and displays a soft natural sheen. The drops are attached along a hand-knotted natural fibre cord, likely raffia or twine, which adds to the piece’s organic, handmade character. Finished with a period-style clasp, this necklace has a lovely aged look and understated elegance typical of early costume jewellery.

Good vintage condition overall, however one carved leaf is chipped/damaged. Despite the flaw, it remains a striking and wearable piece.

My love affair with the 1950s and 1960s began back in my teenage years. While others were chasing trends, I was diving headfirst into the music, the style, and the lifestyle of those eras. Fast-forward a few decades, and nothing’s changed—I’m still a self-confessed vintage addict (and happily so!).

In 2015, I opened my Etsy shop to share my passion with others. Ten years, countless treasures, and thousands of happy customers later, I’ve decided it’s time to branch out and take the next step—building my own little corner of the internet dedicated to all things mid-century and retro.
