Vintage 1930s/40s painted metal figural dress clip of a stylised Black figure wearing an ornate patterned headdress, hoop earrings and red-trimmed clothing. An unusual example of period Black Americana novelty jewellery, with bold painted facial detailing and a three-dimensional form. Finished with a hinged double-prong dress clip fitting to the reverse, marked REG.
